We are looking forward to our next on-site curATalk, which will be held on Nov 6th by Bend Engelmann from the University Hospital Munich at the Ludwigs-Maximilians University. He will speak about his research on “Immune cell specificity of immunothrombosis control”.
Prof. Engelmann is head of the group of Vascular Biology and Pathology at the LMU-University Hospital Munich. His group aims to understand the mechanism that lead to immunothromboses which are the biological basis of pathological thromboses. He is also active in the CRC1123 in which he studies “Immune cell control of plaque-triggered thrombosis – impact of aging.”
The curATalk will be held on-site at the University Medical Center in Mainz, Building 708, seminar room 2.
If you cannot join in person, you can also click here to join the virtual lecture via MS Teams.
curATime - Cluster for Atherothrombosis and Individualized Medicine - is our collaborative cluster for future which we initiated with the University Medical Center Mainz, the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) and many more partners. The cluster is initially funded by the BMBF for three years. Within curATime, we want to reduce the incidence and impact of cardiovascular diseases, which is the leading cause of death worldwide.
