From 23–26 July 2026, Erice (Italy) hosted the CIMT/NIBIT Summer School in Immuno-Oncology, an international training course for PhD students and early-career researchers. Through lectures, interactive sessions and direct exchanges with internationally renowned experts, participants explored the latest advances in cancer immunology and immunotherapy while expanding their professional network. TRON is pleased to have supported the organisation of this year's edition.

Designed for PhD students and early-career researchers, the Summer School offers an intensive programme combining keynote lectures, interactive sessions and unique opportunities for direct exchange with leading international experts in the field. Participants gained insights into the latest developments in tumour immunology and cancer immunotherapy, spanning fundamental biological mechanisms, translational research and emerging clinical applications. The programme also encourages active participation through poster presentations and selected short talks, fostering scientific exchange, interdisciplinary discussion and international networking.

We are pleased to have contributed to this year's Summer School by supporting its organisation and participating in the scientific programme.
