Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Hans Josef Neubauer is the Head of Translational Research at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University Hospital, Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf.
His work centers on translational oncology research, with a focus on molecular diagnostics, circulating tumor cells, and liquid biopsy techniques in breast and gynecologic cancers. His research aims to contribute to improving cancer detection, monitoring, and treatment approaches.
