Our next speaker within the curATime seminar series is Dr. Johnny Kim who recently joined us at TRON to accelerate the implementation of our new research focus on cardiovascular diseases. Within our future cluster curATime, Johnny is leading the project “curAIntervent”, focussing on the locoregional RNA immunotherapy of atherothrombosis.

curATime - Cluster for Atherosclerosis and Individualized Medicine - is our collaborative future cluster which we initiated with the core partners University Medical Center Mainz and the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) and many more partners. The cluster is funded by the BMBF and the projects are starting next spring. Within curATime, we want to reduce the incidence and impact of cardiovascular diseases, which is the leading cause of death worldwide.
