TRON is located in Germany in the picturesque town of Mainz in the metropolitan Rhine-Main region. Mainz is a historic city with a young and international population, a vibrant university of more than 36 000 students, lively cafés, arts venues and festivals. The beautiful neighboring area of Rhine-Gau is well known for its wine-growing culture and scenic landscapes. Other vibrant and international cities such as Wiesbaden and Frankfurt are close by and it is easy to get around thanks to the excellent transportation infrastructure.
